Radio LaB has been shortlisted for two awards in this year’s ‘I love Student Radio awards’.
The nominations are for the Best Outreach Initiative – for its intergenerational mini-series ’The Exchange’, and for the Most Improved Station.
Radio LaB Coordinator Terry Lee is delighted at the progress the station is making: “It’s always great when Radio LaB is recognised for the good work we do, as both a radio station for the students and for the wider community.
“In the two years I have been at the University I have had the pleasure in working with a plethora of talented, committed students and volunteers with great ideas. I’m really pleased that the ‘I Love Student Radio Awards’ judging panel have shortlisted us, it’s a fantastic reward for everyone involved.”
