If you have concerns about our broadcasts or the way the station operates, please get in touch. We promise to handle your complaint with respect and confidentiality, except in cases where disclosure is required by law or regulatory bodies.

How to Submit a Complaint

  • Please send your complaint via email to radiolab971fm@beds.ac.uk with the subject line “Complaint – Private & Confidential”.
  • Your complaint will be forwarded to Station Coordinator, Terry Lee, who will review and respond appropriately.
  • If your complaint specifically relates to Terry Lee, it will be escalated to the Head of School of Arts and Creative Industries for independent handling.

What Happens Next?

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and inform you of the next steps.
  • If necessary, we may request additional details to fully understand your concerns.
  • Most complaints will be reviewed by the Station Coordinator. However, if wider oversight is required, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure fairness.
  • You will receive a response outlining our findings and any proposed resolutions.
  • If you are not satisfied with the outcome, we will provide information on how to appeal.

Further Complaints

While we encourage direct communication with us first, you also have the right to escalate your complaint to Ofcom, the UK’s broadcasting regulator, if necessary.
