Using Myriad Anywhere 5 to Voice-Track

This guide is to voice track for Radio LaB, using Myriad Anywhere 5. This is connected to Myriad in station allowing you to voice track up to 7 days before your scheduled show time.

Before you start you will need

  • Laptop or PC
  • Headphones
  • A microphone (worse case scenario your computers built in Microphone may work, but the audio quality may not be the best).
  • An internet connection

Step 1: Logging in 

Using Google Chrome go to: https://radiolab.myriadanywhere.com/anywhere where you will be presenting with the login screen. Enter your username and password provided by the station management. 

Once logged in you will be presented with the launchpad screen. It’s important you click on the top option ’log editing and voice tracking’

Once you’ve clicked this you will be presented with the standard Myriad screen.  

Step 2: Log editing 

To get to your hour you click the ‘goto’ button which looks like a calendar on the top bar 

Step 3: Actually making radio!

From there you double click on the song you want to talk before, this will then give you a segue edit popup 

You simply click the microphone button and the song before will play, once you start talking the recording begins. Once you’ve finished you click the stop button and close the window. It will ask you if you want to save. Click yes.  

If It doesn’t work

Sometimes things don’t always go to plan, these are some common things to look at

Things to check 

  • Make sure you use Google Chrome 
  • You may need to change your audio settings, to do this, click on the Myriad logo, then options, the select media engine settings, and change your input and output to what your headphones and microphone. *
  • If it’s your first time chrome will ask for your permission to use microphone, you need to allow this permission.

Click on the Myriad logo

Click on options. Then media engine settings.

You may need to change your input and output to match your headphones and microphone input.
