Luton Campus buzzed with excitement as the University of Bedfordshire hosted its Open Day on Saturday 16th November, welcoming prospective students. The University hosts lots of open days throughout the year.

Joel Atkinson and Danielle Foley interviewed the many guest lecturers from industry, throughout the busy day, investigating how different faculties across the campus should go about getting industry experience, CV tips and tricks, and insights on future opportunities.
Throughout the day, Radio LaB kept the mood upbeat with an eclectic mix of music, complementing the lively campus environment, promoting university courses, education and getting professional quality clips for social media.
Joel and Danielle, two of Radio Lab’s most prominent voices, took the opportunity to introduce the station to curious attendees, speaking passionately about the platform’s role in fostering creativity and building essential skills.
“Radio Lab isn’t just a station,” Joel shared. “It’s a community where you can explore your interests, gain real-world experience, and have a lot of fun along the way!”
The hands-on demonstrations sparked excitement and gave prospective students a taste of what it’s like to be part of the station’s vibrant team.
Not only did they interview industry guests, but spoke to the University’s very own Dalek, for its thoughts on the Open Day!!
The event was a resounding success, with Radio Lab 97.1 FM demonstrating why it’s such a beloved part of university life.
