Radio LaB has a new social media look and sound on air!
The team has been busy putting together a brand new identity for the student and community station together! With bright colours and fantastic sounds it’s a complete modernisation.

Danielle Foley, Head of station sound and branding has been leading the rebranding process. She described it:
‘as a magical process that took lots of hard work and effort. A huge team effort came together which made a hilarious process but lead to a fantastic sound and look.’
Joel Atkinson, current station manager describes the new sound and look:
‘It’s a massive step forward for us. We sound and look more modern, which is perfect for our target audience. Also working with Danielle on the station sound has been a pleasure, she’s got a real talent for it! It’s also been really funny, it turns out the only way to describe sound effects is to try and make them yourself!’
New, more consistent, social posts have also been part of the process. Sharing both local information and national noteworthy stories to the students of Luton.
Emma Stigter has been sharing local charity shop finds in a bid to help students struggling with money find clothes, and also share a passion for fashion.
